Six Months and More
The premise was simple. Benefits start the first of the month following 6 months after hire. What is the date?
=DATE(YEAR(A5+182.625),MONTH(A5+182.625)+1,DAY(1))
Build the date from the hiring year plus 182.625 days (half of 365.25). Then the month; the hiring date plus 6 months, plus one month. Then the first day of the month.
